This was a heartbreaking song, although it doesn't seem that way. In 1999, my wife and I lost a baby during pregnancy and I was working on that song, when the phonecall from the doctor came that something was wrong with the test results. It has always seem strange to me that I would have been working on a song with this title at this particualr moment. Heavily influenced by J.J. Cale, one of my all-time heroes.
