about

This track is one of those I'm really proud about. The song was influenced by Kraftwerk, strangely enough, but the idea was to have our own John Bonham moment. So, this is, clearly, Hemlock Smith's "Kashmir". (but you catch my drift; it's far from being as good...)

lyrics

Drone

Here it is ; the road less travelled by
Cowardice, and no passers-by

Led me to believe that I was wrong
Led me to be scared and run – run along

Here it was ; and such a masterplan
Blown to dust, like castles in the sand

Had my firm belief that I could hum
There is no relief – or song – just a drone

Is this the past, or was this never true?
Nothing lasts, and seldom leaves a clue

Led me to deceive and hide my shame
Led me to believe that I, could stay
Stay the same…

There is no relief – or song – just a drone
There is no relief – or song – just a drone
There is no relief – or song – just a drone
